Founded in 2009, the band has released five albums and performed across various countries such as their native country of Sweden as well as southern Europe and Japan. The band started gaining popularity after their third full length release ‘The Corrupted Lullaby’, a double CD concept album that came out in 2018.
Their fifth and latest album, Of Hope & Ordeals, has received a warm reception from both fans and critics. Swedish hard rock and metal hybrid Murderbird was formed in 2014 with a mission to scratch an itch of combining the grandness of rock legends with the raw sincerity of modern metal. The band was formed in 2009 and includes its three founders: guitarist Luca Delle Fave, bassist Rikard Wallström, and drummer Marcus Thorén. They were
later joined by vocalist Markus Tälth and keyboardist Erik Bauer. The band’s fifth and most recent album, Of Hope & Ordeals, was released in June 2024.
