Susanna Laird has been singing and playing music her whole life, influenced heavily by gospel musicians like Andre Crouch and folk music like the Indigo Girls. She spent over 2 decades playing music for friends and family while raising her children, growing gardens and homeschooling. In 2022 Susanna began bringing her Americana style music to the wider world, performing in local venues and music festivals. Her original songs are deeply personal, drawing on her own experiences such as being a cancer survivor, marrying her high school sweetheart and all the love and loss that comes with a well-lived life. Susanna performs songs that are poignant, intimate and warm, with a musical style that is a little bit folk, a little bit gospel, stirred together with rock-n-roll and poured out in simmeringly soulful vocals that will leave you feeling every word.
