Fri., Oct. 10, 6:00 - 10:00pm Sat., Oct. 11, 1:00 - 6:00pm Fall-flavored beer sampling returns to the Zoo with two ways to celebrate! Kick off the weekend with a lively Friday night at OktoBEAR-Eve—an exclusive 21+ event featuring seasonal brews, festive vibes, and wild encounters (leave the cubs at home for this one). Or, join us Saturday for the beloved OktoBEARfest tradition, with unlimited sampling of 60+ seasonal brews, plus wine, seltzer, and cider. Enjoy live music, local vendors, and, of course, all-day admission to the Zoo.
What to Expect: Unlimited sampling: Beer, wine, cider, and seltzer samplings of 40+ flavors An adults-only (21+) evening visit: Leave the cubs at home and enjoy the rare thrill of roaming the Zoo after hours Access to live music, food & vendors: 2 live bands, plus artisan and food vendors Charm City Trivia: Taking place during the festival at 6:30, 7:30, and 8:30 Stein hoisting competition presented by Boston Beer: Women 6:45, Men 7:15 Scheduled animal enrichment: Enjoy an elephant watermelon smash and more while sipping on an exclusively paired drink Please note: Due to evening hours, we cannot guarantee that animals will be viewable aside from scheduled enrichment

What to Expect: All-day admission to the Zoo: Your chance to visit the animals! The Zoo is open from 10AM – 5PM. Unlimited sampling: Beer, wine, cider, and seltzer samplings of 60+ flavors Access to live music, food & vendors: 2 live bands, plus dozens of artisan and food vendors Charm City Trivia: Taking place during the festival (Waterfowl Pavilion) at 2:00, 3:00, & 4:00 Stein hoisting competition presented by Boston Beer: Women 3:00, Kids 3:15, Men 4:30 Watering Hole Pairings: On Saturday, enjoy scheduled animal activities while sipping on an exclusively paired drink at our “watering holes.”

Who: Nelly's Echo
Folk
Nelly’s Echo is neither a band nor a solo musician, but a concept of the musical experience associated with its creator, Nelson. He has self-released five successful albums, performed at well over 500 different establishments since 2012, entertained the troops in Cuba, and even participated in Season 3 of The Voice as a member of Team Christina. Relying on lessons learned from his childhood in Africa and his everyday experiences, his storytelling style has led to some comparing his musicality & storytelling to that of Jason Mraz and John Mayer. Nelson also has taken great pride in sharing the stage with the likes of Trombone Shorty, Travis McCoy & Sean Kingston and Boyz II Men to name a few. In the end, the goal of Nelly’s Echo is to use music as a vehichle to reach the four corners of the earth, while sharing the message of positivity, life, hope, and love to everyone that it comes in contact with.
