Lola Villa’s decade-long music career has taken her to some of the most incredible stages in the world. From Toyko’s red bar, to NYC’s Public Records. Fresh out of Berlin and Mexico City, she brings Jazz, house, afrobeat, ambient and italo disco to her sets–there’s not a genre left untapped by her effortlessly fluid mixes. She’s the co-founder of the label Future Sound of Nature set out to celebrate the roots of electronic music while inviting Nature into its legacy.
As a live act, Lola plays intricate multi-instrumental works formed of experimental sound recordings, mystic and soulful beats and spoken word. Drawing inspiration from improvised jazz, she crafts dynamic and unexpected live sessions where no one really knows where she’ll go.
Her studio, Studio Sato San is a creative lab at the intersection of sound design, ritual, and sensorial immersive journeys.
