Americana folk pop. That’s the simplest description of David Sparrow’s music. It’s a little bit of this and a little bit of that. The bottom line is that he strives to write a memorable melody that you’ll want to hear again and again.
After a fifteen years in Los Angeles, as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of The Whiskey Saints and Burning Jet Black, Sparrow has been playing in and around the Maryland area since returning to the east coast in early 2019.
“One Night In April” (produced and engineered by Timothy Bracken) is the latest full length release (May 2024). It’s a stripped down “live” album attempting to capture some urgency from a newly compiled body of work.
“Valley Winter Song” is the latest single (Nov 2024) released in conjunction with St. Ends (KC Ellis) “Christmish EP”.
