Singer-songwriter Brendan Lane is a lifelong musician whose first self-written tracks made their public debuts at a range of local all-ages gigs in his Annapolis hometown. Distilling influences from The Beatles to Blink-182 via a deep detour in blues country courtesy of B.B. King and John Mayer, Brendan quickly became known for his nostalgic yet innovative blend of rock and soul. Having since released two albums and an EP, played in 7 countries across 3 continents, and refined his reputation as an electric live act, Brendan’s momentum is at an all-time high as he prepares for his biggest year yet, with plans for monthly single releases, a slew of live performances, and the release of a full-length album slated for 2026 — much to the delight of his diverse and growing fanbase.
Brendan Lane has always been a musical person, growing up with a jazz musician father and surrounded by records as a child. When he discovered rock ‘n’ roll at the age of eight, that was it: his life had a singular pursuit and purpose. That purpose has led Lane around the world, performing on three different continents with various performers, which deepened his understanding of what it meant to be a performer.
No matter where he performs or who he performs with, Lane strives to communicate his passion for music with the audience. Most recently, Lane completed an east coast tour with his band, Brendan Lane and the Sugar Packets, trekking from Massachusetts to Texas and reaching new audiences. Sharing his music with new audiences only reinforced Lane’s desire to play music as much as possible.
Lane released a number of singles and an EP, Sweet Tooth, over the course of the 2020-2021 pandemic. There are still three more singles set for release before the new year, with live dates coming after that.
