Ben Heemstra is a multi-instrumentalist who fronts his collaborative project titled “b.en” His style can be described as a complementary blend of R&B/Soul mixed with Funk. He has two studio singles and a live EP out on streaming services.  

He is also the founder of Kensington Studios and their live music video project Kensington Studio Sessions. Their goal is to give artists a professional product to market themselves with. They post episodes weekly on their website and social media pages with over 100 episodes available to watch. ​ Ben also plays keys/organ for The Dan Heely Band and keys/synth for Weird Noises, along with many other bands in the Maryland area. He is also a hired studio session musician as well as a hired live musician.

Along with his band projects, Ben teaches private guitar, piano and voice lessons as well as leading worship at a local church.

Sharing music is an integral part of his life, whether it be his own or others, and he hopes you enjoy his music.
