This concert version is brought to life by the combined forces of Ukraine’s acclaimed NOVA OPERA and the MRIYA Orchestra, featuring soloist Antonii Baryshevskyi and conducted by Mikheil Menabde.

Maxim Shalygin, a Ukrainian-Dutch composer based in The Hague, is regarded as a unique and bold voice in todayโs Dutch music scene. His work is praised for its intensity, emotional depth, and spiritual expressiveness. Since receiving early recognition at the Gaudeamus Festival and participating in Lars von Trierโs Gesamt project, Shalygin has steadily gained attention across Europe.
