Basma Jabr was born in Kuwait and grew up in Syria. In 2014, Basma moved to Austria. Within a short period of time, she found her own place within the Austrian music scene. Her music is a mix of charm and authenticity of the richly detailed Arabic music, mixed with the spirit of jazz music and in a contemporary way, her music has its own character with a special touch.
