Heysek Twins is a stripped-down version of Band Of Heysek. Performing without a bassist, they deliver authentic hill-country blues - just vocals, guitar, and drums—it’s raw and cut to the bone. The duo’s repertoire consists mainly of covers by Mississippi bluesmen such as R.L. Burnside, Junior Kimbrough, Robert Belfour, T-Model Ford, Fred McDowell, and others.

Band of Heysek is a raw and wild blues trio from Brno, Czech Republic, known for their gritty, original songs soaked in the spirit of North Mississippi blues. Since their debut Shovel & Mattock (2017), they’ve built a strong following at home and abroad. A key milestone was their collaboration with Mississippi legends R.L. Boyce and Kenny Brown, resulting in two albums recorded in the U.S.(2019). Their music resonates across Europe, the U.S., and even Asia. In 2025, they returned to Mississippi to record their next album, Sticky Ricky, set for release in early 2026 on Indies Scope.
