As They Rise is a METALCORE/DJENT/NU-METAL formation established in Slovakia. The music we play and make is our truest expression of ourselves. Lyrically, it takes inspiration from our lives and events happening around us. As for the musical side, the guitar section is deeply inspired by metalcore giants of the 2010s, but also with a personal and modern spin of groove and deep tones provided by our extended-range guitars. We are also influenced by various other music genres, you can hear elements of either classical or modern electronic music production in our recent songs. Vocals are rough growls, accompanied by melodic screams that complement each other perfectly.
The whole story of the band started in 2016. We’ve played at many local-based shows and festivals in Slovakia. Later, in 2019, a full-length album, “REBORN” was introduced and aired. The band has been a part of a few well-known open-air music festivals in the Czech Republic, and has also won a local contest in Slovakia. However, a very new chapter has begun. The band, full of new energy and support from the outside world, has released a new single called “Disconnection” in 2021, which can definitely be seen as a herald of a new direction for the band.
