Will Gillespie is a singer-songwriter, guitarist and entertainer based out of Oshawa, ON, Canada. A dynamic performer with an eclectic collection of original songs from finger-pickin’ Folk tunes to light-hearted, whimsical ditties to heart-breaking ballads to foot-stomping rockers, waltzes and more, exploring Folk, Jazz, Blues and Rock & Roll styles. He is also an award-winning playwright, composer and director of the musicals “Swingin’ in St. John’s” and “Diamond in the Rough.” His latest creation: “MINE! True Stories and Legends of the Porcupine Gold Rush"takes the listener on a musical journey back in time to a world of prospectors, pioneers, bootlegger-bandits, dog-sledders, high-graders and moonshiners. He was also the songwriter and frontman for the bands the SALTCOATS (AKA Will Gillespie & His Fabulous SALTCOATS), Old World Romance, Static & Snow and the Will Gillespie Band.
