The Wilson Brothers tight harmonies and upbeat performances have made them one of the quickest rising acts in the Greater Toronto, Hamilton area. Formed in 2016, the duo is composed of brothers John Wilson (rhythm guitar, vocals) and Colin Wilson (lead guitar, vocals, harmonies).
The duo got their start busking on the streets of Stratford, Ontario during the summer tourism seasons in 2017 and 2018 respectively with shows in Hamilton, Ontario during the winter months. In 2019, The duo expanded into 4 piece rock and roll group, The Chordvettes. The newly formed quartet saw great success in their native Hamilton, Ontario, playing several live engagements across Southern Ontario and releasing a direct to YouTube Christmas EP, “Home For The Holidays”.
2022 saw The Wilson Brothers return to playing as a duo, playing a string of engagements organized by Metalworks Institute in Toronto, Ontario, playing for the likes of Juno Nominated Dave Atonacci and Triumph’s Gil Moore. In 2023, the duo made the jump from playing Toronto exclusively to playing shows across the Greater Toronto, Hamilton Area.
2024 has marked a new era for The Wilson Brothers with a full schedule of live appearances across Southern Ontario, even earning them a residency at Your Neighbourhood Pizza Company in Beamsville, Ontario. And with the release of their debut single, “I’m In Love With You” and their first EP on the way, The Wilson Brothers continue to leave a lasting impression on fans and critics alike.
