Fresh off packed-out shows across India, Thailand, Korea, and Indonesia - and Australian tours supporting Alec Benjamin, Lake Street Dive, and grentperez - the 20-year-old Sydney artist is coming to Canada for the first time!

Who: Matthew Ifield

Sydney-based artist Matthew Ifield has a voice beyond his years, and since 2020 has organically amassed a young engaged social audience and millions of views across his channels with his originals, covers, and holiday classics.

After the release of his EMI Australia/Capitol Records (US) debut ‘A Christmas Album’ last year (which saw him support grentperez across Australia), Matthew has spent 2024 releasing original singles including ‘Just Say The Words’ and ‘Ready For Love’ whilst also writing and recording his debut album.

With a large South East Asian audience, Matthew has committed to the region, with performances in Indonesia for Gig on the Green, Korea, and Thailand for PELUPO Festival. Matt also recently collaborated with WIM, one half of Thai stars HYBS, on feel-good track ‘Sup’ showing off his more fun side.

Matt’s music has resonated with fans around the world, driving millions of social views, hundreds of thousands of TikTok & Reel creates, over 850k Instagram followers, and millions YouTube views. 2025 will see Matthew officially release more singles, building into his debut album.
