Who: Devin Cooper

Country-rock

Country-rocker Devin Cooper continues to prove that he does country music his way and doesn’t apologize for it.

The Canadian artist has had a landmark few years. Just last year, Cooper released his 22-track double album, Good Things: Deluxe Edition, raised over $50k for the Alzheimer Society of Calgary with his annual Ride to Remember event, having now raised over $100k for the cause close to the singer’s heart, with the 6th annual edition promising to be the biggest event yet. Kicking off 2025, Cooper secured six Country Music Alberta Nominations, making him the most-nominated solo artist at this year’s awards. This recognition is a testament to the success and impact of his 22-track double album, Good Things: Deluxe Edition released in 2024.

The momentum has continued since 2023, when Cooper received his first CCMA Nomination for “Creative Team of The Year” for his debut album Good Things, won the Country Music Alberta Award for “Horizon Male Artist of the Year” and was a semi-finalist in SiriusXM’s Top of The Country.

Having shared the stage with some of North America’s top talent including, Brett Kissel, Aaron Pritchett, Jade Eagleson, Gord Bamford, and Lou Gramm of Foreigner and playing sold-out shows across Alberta at venues like the Calgary Stampede and King Eddy, summer 2024 saw Cooper expanding his fan-base nationally taking the stage at major festivals including Cavendish Beach Music Festival in PEI, and the legendary Whiskey Jam in Nashville, TN. This summer, Cooper performed his highly anticipated showcase at Departure Festival following a run of shows across Ontario breweries and will be performing 3 back-to-back shows at the iconic Calgary Stampede this July.

Cooper’s signature sound fuses raw, gritty rock ’n roll vocals with heartfelt, authentic songwriting. Driven by bold guitar riffs and anthemic energy, he effortlessly blurs the line between country and rock, creating music for those with small-town roots and a rebellious spirit. Cooper’s sound strikes a chord with anyone who craves honest country lyricism infused with a bold, edgy energy.

Marking the start of an exciting new chapter, Cooper’s powerful anthemic single, “Memories That Made Us” is available everywhere now.
