Communism is an idealistic party band that intends to make you dance, have a great time, and feel the love of community. This Toronto-based trio delivers powerful, dance-inducing music fueled by primal rhythms, soaring melodies, and heartfelt optimism. Their two albums, Get Down Get Together and Lovespeech, represent a message of hope, kindness, and connection. They play original songs as well as mashups and medleys of iconic artists including Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush, Prince, Queen, and many more. The band is: Don Kerr (drums & vocals), Jason Haberman (bass & vocals) and Mike O’Brien (guitar & vocals). Members of Communism are also touring musicians with artists including Bahamas, Dan Mangan, Ron Sexsmith, Rheostatics, and other great Canadian acts.
