Barbara is a powerful and versatile vocalist, actor and vocal coach with a professional career spanning over 30 years. She is best known as one of “Mantini Sisters”, a singing trio who have performed across Canada and the United States in their own productions.
She is a recipient of an NMA Jazz Artist of the Year award for her jazz CD “Maybe Someday” and performs at jazz clubs and festivals. As a musical theatre artist, Barbara has performed for various professional theatre companies across Canada and has lent her voice to many animated cartoons like “The Busy World of Richard Scarry”, “Rupert”, “Babar-The Movie”, “Marvin the Tap Dancing Horse” and “Bad Dog”.
When not performing, Barbara directs audiobooks for ECW Press and is a professor in the Acting for Film and Television program at Niagara College.
