Abel Maxwell is an inspiring, award-winning Afro-Canadian musical artist. Arriving in Toronto with no money or connections, he rose to the top, winning several prestigious awards in 2024 for his commitment to the French-speaking world, youth and culture.
These include the UNESCO Prize, the Ordre de la Pléiade awarded by the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, the TOP 25 Canadian Immigrant Award, the Kilimanjaro Music Award 2024 and the King Charles III Coronation Medal.
Most recently, his inspiring work earned him a deal with Universal.
