Born in Kobe and grew up in Tokyo. Start to play jazz in college.Learned jazz improvisation from Eddie Henderson.Joined Barry Harris’ workshop several time both Tokyo and New York. Played with Tom Harrell, Bobby Shew, Carl Saunders, Eero Koivistoinen, Mats Holmquist, Akira Tana to name few.
