After moving to Tokyo in 1991, she was active as a vocalist for “Port of Notes” and “Double Famous”, and then made her solo debut in 2001. She has received overwhelming support from music fans, including women of her generation. In March 2011, she released a poem titled “My Beautiful Hometown”, which touched the hearts of people across the country and was featured in various media outlets, becoming a hot topic. Since 2012, she has also been active as a DJ for FM Yokohama’s radio program “Travelin’ Light” (live broadcast/Saturday 11:00-13:00).
