So Where To Today?

Masterfully blending elements of melodic house, trap, future bass and more, JO3 (pronounced Joe) is a Tokyo-based triple threat DJ, producer and artist whose seamless, genre-bending production and magnetic stage-presence has captivated the attention of generation Z.

Influenced by his rock vocalist father, JO3 grew up surrounded by the music of Metallica and Kiss. He first came across dance music in elementary school when iTunes introduced him to Skrillex, and he heard Zedd’s Beautiful Now on TV. The sweet sentimental melodies and pulsing basslines of pop music met his rock music background, coming together to produce a tireless passion for songwriting.

Having begun his artist/producer/DJ activities in his teens, JO3’s world came crashing down around him when the coronavirus pandemic of 2020 halted his momentum. Lost and lacking motivation, fate intervened when YouTube’s algorithm served up So Far Away by Martin Garrix and David Guetta, reigniting the fire needed to fuel his dream. Determined to break out of his slump, JO3 worked obsessively, and within one month had created 300 demos. Through sheer force of will, he had achieved his goal of creating his own EDM. 

JO3 is a journey; a synthesis between JO3, his collaborators, and you. Together, these 3 elements combine to create an unstoppable force. Now with the release of You And I in 2024, JO3 is ready and poised to take on the world.
