Willo est un groupe normand basé à Rouen. Egalement membres du groupe Maarten (second album produit par Jason Lytle de Grandaddy), ils amorcent en 2010 un virage vers une musique plus radicale, directe et électrique. Le trio s’ attèle à l’écriture de son premier album " Lock-In " sorti en 2012. De nombreux concerts suivent en France et en Belgique aux côtés notamment de Syd Matters, The Oscillation,My Little Cheap Dictaphone… Aujourd’hui, ils préparent une trilogie “Stay Calm and Carry On”. Trois EP dans lesquels on retrouvera leurs nouveaux morceaux plus encore teintés de psychédélisme, autant influencés par les Flaming Lips que les Black Angels. Willo is a French band from Normandy. Members from the band Maarten (2nd album produced by Jason Lytle from Grandaddy), Wilfried, Mathieu and Sebastien, took a new turn in 2010 towards a radical, straight and electric genre. The trio (2 guitarists and 1 drummer) went on to release “Lock-in” in 2012. A long schedule of playing live and touring in France and Belgium followed, which included supporting Syd Matters, The Oscillation and My Little Cheap Dictaphone… Today the band are working on a trilogy of Eps titled “Stay Calm and Carry On”. The three Ep’s are coloured by more psychedelia, influenced as much by the Flaming Lips as by the Black Angels.
