The British ska movement took the world by storm in 1979 and people have been skanking to the beat ever since.

Dig out your checkered clothes, braces, skinny ties, polos, trilby and your best dancing shoes for a very special celebration night.

British Ska and 2 tone, also known as ska-rock is a genre of British popular music of the late 1970’s and early 1980’s that fused traditional Jamaican ska, rock steady and reggae music with elements of punk rock and new wave music.

I’m a guitarist, songwriter, and teacher based in Sydney. I’ve released two solo albums, played on numerous records, and currently play guitar in Soul Messengers (original soul), Strange Rooster (9-piece Soul covers), One Step Beyond (Ska Tribute) and Jungle Boogie (9-piece Funk covers). I’ve toured extensively across Australia, Europe, and Asia, performing in original and cover bands.
