Berlin-based duo Chow Chow Disco will bring their surreal brand of funk, disco, and theatrical storytelling to Australia for the first time this January. The project, led by Spanish vocalist Sara Vidal Cabré and German producer/guitarist Jarrah Dhyan, blends pulsating bass, retro synths, and eccentric performance art to create a live experience that blurs the line between concert and fever dream.

This is Chow Chow Disco, the new live disco project from Australian guitarist Jarrah Dhyan and Barcelona born vocalist Sara Vidal Cabré, now based in Berlin.
A fever dream of talking animals, punchy grooves and tangled love stories set against a collision of funk and disco. Their songs blend surreal storytelling with a playful, emotional edge that mirrors our world while opening a portal to another.
The room starts to breathe. Sequins flash, bass erupts through velvet air, nostalgic synths and distorted voices ignite the dancefloor.
With a love for retro futurism and a taste for the unexpected, Chow Chow Disco create a party that feels raw, imaginative and entirely their own.
