ABOUT THE BAND: Formed in 2017 by guitarist/vocalist Chris Jones, Old Horn Tooth has carved out a distinct space in the UK doom scene with their slow-grinding compositions and hypnotic vocal lines. Featuring Ollie Isaac on bass and newly joined drummer Tom Fyfe (The Brothers Keg, Black Orchids, Electric Funeral), the band delivers a powerful blend of grief-soaked riffage, mythic undertones, and raw human emotion.

From their 2019 debut From The Ghost Grey Depths to 2021’s single True Death, and now 2024’s monumental Mourning Light, Old Horn Tooth continues to evolve—while staying slow, low, and crushing as ever.

Who: Old Horn Tooth

Doom Metal

Old Horn Tooth conjure crushing riffs, cavernous tone, and a sense of creeping dread from the belly of London’s underground. Equal parts bleak and hypnotic, their sound fuses lumbering doom with fuzz-drenched sludge and a thick layer of atmosphere that nods to the old gods of the riff.

Known for their thunderous live shows and dedication to tone worship, Old Horn Tooth have become a cult presence on the UK heavy scene, sharing stages with the likes of Conan, Slomatics, and Desert Storm. Their latest record pushes further into the abyss—slow-burning, bleak, and blisteringly heavy.

If you’re into low tunings, tectonic grooves, and the kind of sonic weight that leaves your bones rattling, Old Horn Tooth is your new favourite funeral procession.
