Cuan a Tuath består av musikerna Séamus Ó Baoghill, fiol och small-pipes från Isle of Skye, Kristina Leesik, sång och fiol från Stockholm och Dan Brown, jazzpianist från England. Trion är ett Glasgow-baserat band som fokuserar på nordiska och skotska höglandets traditionella stilar. Bandets repertoar blandar musik från Skottland med svenska inslag av jazz och folk. 2025 vann Cuan a Tuath Danny Kyle Award på Celtic Connections.

Cuan a Tuath is a Glasgow based band drawing influence from the Nordic and Scottish Highland traditional styles. The band’s repertoire mixes Highland Strathspeys and Reels with traditional Swedish songs & polska’s.
The trio won a Danny Kyle award this year at Celtic Connections, members include
Séamus Ó Baoighill (fiddle & pipes), Kristina Leesik (vocals & fiddle) & Dan Brown (piano).
