So Where To Today?

The pop group ARSADI, from the vibrant Swedish university town Uppsala, was formed in 2016 and consists of Anthony Bachtiar on vocals and keyboard, Nils Öberg on guitar, Feria Hikmet on bass and Malkolm Bonander on drums. They made their live debut just a month after forming the band and have given plenty of memorable performances ever since. At their latest concert, the Stockholm final in the music competition Emergenza, they provided a lively cavalcade of pop hits and a most memorable show, including a horn section, extra choir singers, drum solos, sing-along parts and stage dive. They became the sole winner out of 40 acts, although they were the only non-Stockholm band. While they have played in many Swedish cities indeed, they are best known in their hometown where they frequently give sold-out concerts at student societies. The last few years they have also been headlining the annual culture festival Kulturnatten, as well as turning the famous venue Katalin into a dance floor more than once. However, ARSADI can also play softly at intimate and scaled-down gigs such as Sofar Sounds. With their big love for performing live, they embrace the audience and convey their music with playfulness and precision regardless of the size of the venue.
