Rita P We welcome Emilie for her first tour in Seoul. Emilie Palmelund, known by her stage name Rita P, is a Danish visual artist and musician who gained recognition as a touring bassist for the London-based indie rock band Bar Italia.
In 2024, she embarked on her solo career under the moniker Rita P, showcasing her unique blend of breakbeat-driven indie rock with restlessness and elusive tension.
She has performed across major european cities including London, Paris, Stockholm, Copenhagen, and Rome. Following her 2025 EP Rita’s Pop, she released the album Rita’s Purse. At her first Seoul show, she will be performing songs from the new album.
wack Since the release of their first single in 2023, followed by the EP Tree Pose and their debut full-length album Slop earlier this year, wack has established one of the most distinctive sounds in Seoul.
Their debut single “Cliche,” which layered surf-leaning guitar lines over breakbeat rhythms, gained viral attention last year after being highlighted by music reviewer Derrick Gee, drawing notice both in Korea and internationally.
Based in Seoul, wack presents a hybrid sound that resists easy genre classification, forging a character entirely their own. If one were to attempt a definition, it could be described as channeling the sensibility of underground electronic music through the hardware of alternative and indie rock.
wack’s music moves between the jazz-inflected blues of Nina Simone and the elusive, understated tension of post-punk. What they stand for, ultimately, is not a genre but an attitude—music not simply to be heard, but to be felt.
