Pianist, composer and educator Jaehun Kang is the Best Jury Price winner of the 2010 Jarasum International Jazz Competition and a semi-finalist for the 2016 Parmigiani Montreux Jazz Solo Piano Competition. He has performed at the Blue Note, Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola, Berklee Performance Center, Shapeshifter Lab, among other venues. Jaehun holds the Masters of Music from the Juilliard School, where he studied with Wynton Marsalis, Frank Kimbrough, Kenny Barron and Rodney Jones. He performed with jazz legends such as Jimmy Heath, George Garzone and Don Faddis, to name a few.
