87dance is a four-member band composed of vocals, guitar, bass, and drums. They made their debut in 2019 with the release of the album Palchilldance. Since then, they’ve consistently released a series of EPs and singles, crafting a dreamy yet subtly mystical sound. In 2023, they solidified their unique musical identity with their first full-length album COLOR PAPER HOTEL, built around a distinct concept and narrative universe.
Their first overseas venture began with a showcase in Japan in 2023, followed by a performance at SXSW Sydneyβmarking their entry onto the global stage. The band has also pursued meaningful collaborations with both local and international acts, expanding their creative reach.
Their 2024 EP Youth Heritage received positive attention, further strengthening their fanbase. That same year, they pre-released the single Hush from their upcoming EP, featuring cover art designed in collaboration with a renowned international graphic artist. In December, they held their first tour in Thailand, during which they shot the official music video for Hushβtheir second video filmed in Thailand, following Love in Balcony from their first full-length album.
In 2025, 87dance performed at EMERGE FEST, a major music festival in Taichung, Taiwan, successfully completing their first show there. Their continued interaction with local bands has opened new doors, laying the groundwork for future collaborations with artists across various countries.
