Recently signed to Manic Kat Records, the band Year of the Dragon originally was just a side project that was operative when vocalist Dirty Walt was not on the road or in the studio with his main band, FISHBONE, of which he was a founding member. Having left that band, he made Year of the Dragon a full-time outfit, they secured a record deal after that, and now they are burning up stages across the country with their unique, powerful sound. Year of the Dragon is significantly heavier in sound that Fishbone, but one thing they have in common with them is a powerful, hard-hitting live show that is not to be missed!
