Sarah Burke is a singer-songwriter and acoustic guitarist based in the Pacific Northwest. With a background in musical theater and a cappella performance, she now composes her own uplifting music inspired by stories and experiences of those close to her heart. Awarded “ Best Musician” by Best of Nisqually 2023 and named top-10 finalist in the Tucson Folk Festival Song-Writer’s Competition, Sarah enjoys dancing along the lines of genre. This is evident in her involvement as the lead singer of indie-pop band, WINEHOUSE, and her love for her family’s mariachi roots in Tucson, AZ.
Known for her unique soulful tone and honest story-telling, Sarah draws influence from a variety of artists including Linda Ronstadt, Stevie Nicks, Brandy Carlile, Norah Jones, and Ayla Schafer. A firm believer in the power of music as medicine for the soul, Sarah has been in and out of the studio working to record more of her own.
