Ray Baron is a songwriter and composer based in the greater Snohomish County / Everett and Seattle areas. His music blends influences from alternative rock, gothic, folk, blues/jazz, progressive rock, and experimental, if not theatric styles, often shifting between genres while keeping a focus on storytelling and mood. His songs explore everyday moments as well as fiction, personal reflections, and the spaces between people, with arrangements that range from stripped-down acoustic to layered and textured. He performs both solo and with a rotating group of collaborators in the greater PNW.
