Jonas Myers @ Port Townsend Film Festival Holy Carp is the Olympic Peninsula’s freshest party band. They may be an irreverent bunch, but they are serious musicians, with decades of professional experience and countless tours with Grammy-winning artists between them. With a high-energy, groove-heavy mix of classic covers and clever originals, spanning pop and rock to blues, jazz, soul, and country, Holy Carp’s sound packs a punch. Their debut in January at the Uptown Pub created significant buzz in and around Port Townsend. They’ve since performed on the main stage at 7 Cedars Casino and are slated to kick off the 2025 Wooden Boat Festival. With word spreading around the Peninsula, this fun-loving band is quickly becoming a favorite on the regional circuit.

Who: Jonas Myers

Jonas Myers is a musician, writer, teacher, bicycle wanderer, and proud lifelong Cascadian. In his twenties, he gained recognition in Seattle as a jazz pianist, composer, and bandleader. His group the Walking Hat Trio played a KNKX Studio Session in 2019. For several years he was a regular performer at the Canlis piano bar. In 2020, he released his debut album, Driving Home, featuring a nine-piece ensemble. In 2021, he moved to Corvallis, OR, where he earned his MFA in creative writing at Oregon State University.
