Jonas Myers
Jonas Myers is an accomplished pianist, bassist, singer-songwriter, composer, bandleader, and music teacher from Port Townsend, WA. In his twenties, he gained recognition as a top-call pianist on the Seattle scene. For several years he was a regular performer at the Canlis piano bar. His group the Walking Hat Trio played a KNKX Studio Session in 2019. He is the 2026 artist-in-residence at Cellar Cat in Kingston, WA. Learn more at jonasmyers.com.
Ev Stern
Bassist Ev Stern is a beloved figure in the Seattle jazz scene. For over thirty years, he has run Ev Stern’s Jazz Workshop, helping to shape the careers of many of the finest musicians to come out of Seattle. He is the founder and owner of the Maple Leaf Music Space, a community music performance and teaching space in North Seattle. He is known for his generous, energetic, hard-swinging style on the upright bass.
Larry Mahlis
Larry Mahlis is recognized internationally as an original and versatile voice on drum set and percussion. He has performed extensively in the US, Japan, Mexico and Canada, and has appeared on numerous recordings in addition to film and TV soundtrack work. Since 1997 Larry has been an instructor at the Seattle Drum School.

Jonas Myers is a musician, writer, teacher, bicycle wanderer, and proud lifelong Cascadian. In his twenties, he gained recognition in Seattle as a jazz pianist, composer, and bandleader. His group the Walking Hat Trio played a KNKX Studio Session in 2019. For several years he was a regular performer at the Canlis piano bar. In 2020, he released his debut album, Driving Home, featuring a nine-piece ensemble. In 2021, he moved to Corvallis, OR, where he earned his MFA in creative writing at Oregon State University.
