Heather Ward is a seasoned jazz vocalist and vocal coach, originally from Canada and now based in Seattle. Her two self-released albums, ‘Honeysweet’ and ‘Gilded & Silver’, signify a major milestone in Heather’s career, marking her full transition from a diverse musical and theatrical performer and educator to focusing solely on her passion for jazz. She is fascinated by transforming songs from other genres into jazz as well as writing original tunes. Join Heather at one of her shows and enjoy her music as she delves deeper into the jazz genre, crafting a legacy that celebrates authenticity, passion, and the transformative power of music. Her family is full of music teachers, choir directors, church organists and professional musicians. All of them influenced and inspired her, as music was a constant part of life in her home. She was hugely influenced by artists such as Sarah Vaughan and Dinah Washington, as well as contemporaries like Holly Cole and Michael Bublé.
