Lee Shupp and his All Star Band play at 414 California Street as part of the Palo Alto Concert Series.
Lee Shupp is a singer/songwriter/guitarist who writes and performs Americana music. His influences span the musical spectrum, including rock, country, blues, R&B, funk, and whatever else sounds good. His music features a rich baritone voice, catchy melodies, swampy guitars, and infectious dance grooves.
Lee plays shows with his full band as well as solo acoustic gigs. He is known for his energetic stage presence and love of audience interaction. Lee has played in many Bay Area bands including Bohemian Luv Jones, Bodacious, the Blue Light Revue, the Thrillseekers, and Chick Jagger, among others.
Lee grew up next to a bayou in Houston Texas and cut his teeth in the vibrant Houston music community. He lived in Austin for a decade, where he played in many different bands, as part of the wonderfully creative Austin music scene. Lee then came West to San Francisco, where he lives today, enjoying the diversity and originality of the Bay Area music scene. He loves adventure, travel, and exploring culture.
