Happy Holidays! We QuaranPaloozians are doing a very special in-person XmasPalooza at The Monkey House in Berkeley Sun 12/21. From 3:30 - 7:30PM you can enjoy sets of music from Katherine Park, BanjerDan, Bagwell & Troy, Lisa Graciano & Friends, and John Rybak + Friends. The Monkey House is located on University Ave. in Downtown Berkeley, walking distance to both Berkeley BART and The University. It’s a listening room, BYOB, they provide cups and openers and there’s a sliding scale suggested donation of $20-40., cash or venmo only. Santa or Elf costumes not required but appreciated, especially if you can pull off a Santa-Monkey theme ha.

Who: John Rybak
Americana
John is an established professional musical performer and plays acoustic shows around the San Francisco Bay area. Hailing from the deeply blues + jazz saturated upstate NY city, Rochester. Roots running deep, he was captivated by the intensity and emotion of monumental east and west coast blues, rock and jazz improvisors of the 30’s, 60’s, 70’s and more recent modern Jam Band, Groove and Indie Rock acts. Surrounded by a musical family, John first picked up the harmonica at the young age of 14. Heavily influenced by harmonica playing Grandfather + Uncle and by many other famous Harmonica greats. He spent hours on end emulating and playing along with friends and recordings. In 2003 when during a major life changing summer John decided to pack his entire life into his jeep and trek cross-country and relocated here in San Francisco. John now plays acoustic shows around The SF Bay Area.
