Happy Holidays! Huuuuge thanks to those that played and those that came out to XmasPalooza @ The Monkey House in Berkeley last night! We’re not done yet.. We’re doing a matinee Christmas Afterparty at The Bistro in Downtown Hayward this Fri 12/26. From 1 - 5:30 you can enjoy sets from Katherine Park, Lyric Raven, Morgan Cochneuer, Laura Benitez, Zoe Fitzgerald Carter, Deborah Crooks & Kwame Copeland, and John Rybak + Friends. The Bistro is conveniently located on the corner of B Street & Main, walking distance from the Hayward BART Station, and there is tons of free parking close by, both outdoor lots and parking garages. They always have a fantastic craft beer selection including Pliny on tap (!) and some cheese board type munchies as well. It is cash only but there is an ATM inside and its free to get in!

Who: John Rybak
Americana
John is an established professional musical performer and plays acoustic shows around the San Francisco Bay area. Hailing from the deeply blues + jazz saturated upstate NY city, Rochester. Roots running deep, he was captivated by the intensity and emotion of monumental east and west coast blues, rock and jazz improvisors of the 30’s, 60’s, 70’s and more recent modern Jam Band, Groove and Indie Rock acts. Surrounded by a musical family, John first picked up the harmonica at the young age of 14. Heavily influenced by harmonica playing Grandfather + Uncle and by many other famous Harmonica greats. He spent hours on end emulating and playing along with friends and recordings. In 2003 when during a major life changing summer John decided to pack his entire life into his jeep and trek cross-country and relocated here in San Francisco. John now plays acoustic shows around The SF Bay Area.
