We are happy to annouce that this year’s South Wayne Porchfest will take place on Saturday, September 13th. This will be our 8th year!
If this is your first time visiting, allow me to introduce you to South Wayne PorchFest. It’s a glorious day of free live music, played on the porches of Wayne, PA’s historic district. We plan to curated over 60 diverse musical acts, ranging from soulful a cappella to the rhythmic beats of zydeco.
For the safety and enjoyment of all, we close down our streets to form musical avenues—Midland Ave., St. Davids Rd., and Windermere Ave.—creating nearly a mile of car-free melody. You are invited to take a leisurely stroll down our musical lanes, find a cozy patch of grass to unwind, or let loose and dance right in the streets.
If you attend, you’re sure to discover melodies that resonate deeply within you, igniting your imagination and stirring your soul. So come join us; we eagerly await your arrival, ready to share in the joy of music together.

With a vocal described as having “a purity to it that we rarely hear” (Ear to the Ground Music), Biologist-turned-Singer/Songwriter Maggie Pope pairs an ethereal voice with expressive songwriting. She writes and performs both a solo artist, and as a member of the Americana/Indie-Rock band, Under the Oak.
Mixed by Grammy Award-winning producer and engineer, Shani Gandhi (Sarah Jarosz - Undercurrent), her debut solo EP, June Tapes, captures the best of what folk music is today - it’s honest and raw, with an air of homespun simplicity.
