Philadelphia-based indie folk artist Kristin Daelyn combines intricate fingerstyle guitar with poetic storytelling to create a world of nostalgia and introspection. Her music explores themes of love, longing, and nature through vivid sonic canvases and deep emotional exploration. Grounded in the simplicity and warmth of folk tradition, her sound feels both familiar and unique, evoking quiet moments and a tender space for deep connection.
Daelyn self engineered and produced her first album “Gardens and Plantings”. Recording the record at home, she invites you into an almost private space to share personal musings. Her most recent double single, “Into the Quarry”, was recorded with Danny Black (Good Old War, Gregory Alan Isakov) and released July 2023.
Her compositions have been featured on WXPN, NPR, MTV, Philadelphia Magazine and Gems on VHS.
