Jeremy Simon is an accomplished drummer composer and educator in the jazz scene and beyond. He is known for his musical versatility and creativity often blending other genres with Jazz. With an awareness that time is fleeting and never guaranteed, he seeks to make every musical moment count. Drawing from many of his life experiences, he composed his first album “Let the Drums Speak”, an all original solo drum project with the concept that music expresses what words cannot. This album transcends genre labeling and constantly flows between different styles. On a deeper level it makes a bold statement that the drums can speak for themselves musically without any other instruments involved. He has also played with countless artists throughout various genres such as Zavetis, Cvgebird, Jo Rivers, Arnetta Johnson, Eric Wortham II, and Souls on Fire. He is currently composing for a larger jazz ensemble and leads his own jazz trio on gigs throughout the country.
