Venezuelan singer based in Paris, Speranza Galez unveils her debut album: a poetic journey blending jazz with traditional rhythms from Venezuela and Latin America, inspired by literature, mythology, and visual arts.
Joined by GAüD (guitar and arrangements), Joachim Govin (double bass), and Pierre-Eden Guilbaud (drums), she embodies a new wave of Latin jazz vocals — rooted in her native language and culture — reimagining timeless stories where past and present intertwine.
“Originally from Venezuela, Speranza Galez blends the traditional music of her country with jazz” (France Musique).
Trained at the José Ángel Lamas Conservatory in Caracas, she developed a dual path as a singer and actress, merging music and theater into a singular artistic approach.
Her Latin American roots and passion for jazz fuel an eclectic and vibrant musical universe — from jazz standards to Venezuelan and Caribbean folk, bossa nova, flamenco, rock, metal, and Brazilian Tropicália.
