An Introvert Turning Daydreams into Pop Songs

At around 6 years old , This Paris based singer-songwriter started writing songs as a way to understand his feelings.

And over the years, his sound has evolved from the typical French ballad to radio ready pop songs .

At 20 years old. He already had over 9000 hours of songwriting behind him. And he spent the next 3 years, learning about music production , filmmaking and performing.

Nilo started his career in October 2019. By releasing a song a day on his instagram for a month. Just to see if he would be able to match the rythme of the music industry. And, like his role model ( ED SHEERAN ). He spent the rest of the year, playing every night, on every stage he could find in the city of love .

Griffin’s music is mainly focused on authenticity, energy flow , and interesting melodies. Influenced by folk, rap , and rock music. His pop songs create a cinematic vibe, that can be listened to before going to sleep. Or makes you sing out loud during a show . And even though he is now writing more songs in English. You will still find a lot of French project in his discography.

« SAD BOY HOURS » is this young artist first home made project. It combines a lot of different genre in 6 songs, written and produced during lockdown . This short EP is just enough to give an idea of how versatile Nilo Griffin is . And more importantly , how serious he really is about his music .
