The mic is located at the popular “The Buddha Room” on 410 8th Avenue, 2nd Floor. This is a warm and safe spot to review and practice your jokes in front of a decent audience. You’ll get a mix of comedians and real audience members at the club. Come join us and work those jokes!

Who: Ruthy Ferrera
Ruthy Ferrera is a bi-lingual (English/Spanish) award-winning comedienne, and the latest (Newcomer) winner of Ladies of Laughter, the renowned organization recognized for boosting the comedy careers of top comediennes. Ruthy also won the 2025 Good Karma Comedy Festival that took place in New Lebanon, NY. This talented “comica” was born in her mother’s friend’s living room, giving Ruthy automatic bragging rights to say she was born to entertain. Ruthy also regularly performs in top NYC comedy clubs and was the first comedienne to open the brand-new Copacabana in New York City, after the iconic nightclub reopened with comedy after 40 years.
