From a young age, Robyn immersed herself in the rich musical tapestry of Detroit, a city synonymous with musical innovation. Inspired by the legendary artists who pioneered the Detroit sound, she developed a profound appreciation for the roots of electronic music. As she explored different genres, Robyn’s musical horizons expanded, allowing her to seamlessly blend elements from hip-hop, soul, and electronic dance music into her own distinctive style.
With unwavering determination, Robyn turned her lifelong dreams into reality and now finds herself on lineups. with renowned artists in the global electronic music scene, to include John Digweed, Sasha, Hot Since 82, Tinlicker, Nora En Pure, Green Velvet, Loco Dice, Jamie Jones , and Maceo Plex - just to name a few. Her talent and dedication have not gone unnoticed, and in 2023, she made her production debut with the release of her EP “Torio” on 8 Bit Records, a top global Deep House label co-founded by Nick Curly and Gorge. This release left a lasting impression on listeners and showcased her immense talent. Robyn has continued to captivate audiences with numerous releases on esteemed labels such as Insomniac Records, Kittball Records, Tube and Berger’s Label, Ohral Recordings, EXX Boundless and many more and her music has also been featured on several VA compilation albums. Her collaboration with Deep House legends Markus Homm and Gorge on the EP “Solitude” further solidified her presence in the industry. As she looks ahead to the coming year, Robyn already has several EPs on the horizon, as and major label projects in the works for 2024.
