So Where To Today?

Over the course of seven years, between 2005 and 2012, Ritual – like rarely any other band of their generation – demonstrated the liveliness of hardcore in Germany and Europe. In the intensity of their music you could unmistakably hear what it still could mean to play in a band of punks in the new millenium: a deeply felt »NO« to all authorities and social constraints, which, in the end, cannot forever be escaped from – and at the same time a passionate life in the wolfpack. In other words: a momentum of youth, of friendship. A handful of releases now points back to long days and nights in rehearsal rooms, studios and the stages of Europe: The band has released three albums and three 7“ singles, played well over 300 concerts in 19 countries and thereby established a sound which is as fresh today as it was, when it was first created.
