Who: Gone Stereo

Gone Stereo: A Melodic Pop Punk Band from Long Island

Gone Stereo is a five-piece melodic pop punk band from Long Island, New York, that was established in 2022.

Their distinctive sound, a fusion of 1990s influences and early 2000s pop punk, is poised to captivate audiences. With their electrifying live performances, soaring vocal harmonies, and captivating guitar riffs, Gone Stereo leaves listeners dancing and singing along. Initially, Gone Stereo commenced as a pandemic solo project led by Matty Lupinacci. However, with the support of esteemed friends, the band evolved into a fully realized ensemble.

The current lineup comprises Chris Lynam on guitar vocals, Josh Freeman on guitar, Mike Drinkwalter on bass, and Danny DiGiuseppe on drums. All of these members have been integral to the Long Island punk scene for over two decades, and their diverse musical backgrounds contribute to the band’s songwriting and musical arrangements.

Since 2022, Gone Stereo has released an impressive 14 songs, with four of them currently featured in regular rotation on @siriusxm @factionpunk channel 314.

We’ve secured two two-song single record deals with @negativeprogression, and some of our album artwork was meticulously hand-painted by the renowned punk rock artist @markdesalvo.

We’ve also collaborated with esteemed engineers and producers like John Naclario (@nadarecording), @samguaiana, @badamimixes (@portraitrs), and @frankmitaritonna (@mikewatts_vudustudio ).

We’ve performed approximately 50 shows across Long Island, New York City, and New Jersey, sharing the stage with renowned bands like @hiddeninplainview, @boysoffallband @vinniecaruana, @theironroses, @lowestofthelowmusic, @lilxlotus @makeoutofficial.

In 2023, we were honored to be selected to perform at the Bamboozle Festival, though it unfortunately had to be canceled.
