Eine Stunde Weihnachtsspecial mit Herrn Dennehy
Herr Dennehy is a Munich-based singer-songwriter with roots in Ireland, England, Franconia, and (by marriage) Sicily. Building upon the inescapable foundations of the 60’s and 70’s legends, he has forged his own very distinct and unvarnished sound in the contemporary wake of the likes of Frank Turner, David Gray, and Damien Rice – with lyrics that cast critical eyes between the cracks of social and emotional realities.
Following 2022’s self-released EP “In the Dark”, Herr Dennehy painted “Yellow And Blue” in September 2024 – the first release from his coming debut and an anti-war and anti-complacency tune born on the ruins of Ukrainian life plans. “Moving in Circles“ followed in January 2025, offering a more post-punk-driven foretaste of the upcoming long-player. September 2025 then saw the release of an Irish-folk-infused cover of Miley Cyrus’ hit “Flowers” as a non-album track, just for the fun of it. On November 28, 2025, Herr Dennehy released the last pre-release from his forthcoming debut album “Best Igorance” (ETA: Feb 2025).
