So Where To Today?

The piano duo FourTe was formed in Weimar in 2014 as a German-Japanese project by the two pianists Eva-Maria Weinreich and Tomohito Nakaishi. The name is composed of the English word “four” (four) and the Japanese word “Te” (hand). Since then, the artists have been exploring the world of piano duo playing with great joy and refreshing imagination. The two artists explore the variety of colors of the piano sound and combine Asian and European sound aesthetics with virtuosity in their own compositions.
